GOODMORNING N.H., GAME DAY. H.L., Please I'm begging you. You don't have to say your sorry that Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) is not in your Fan. 4. I don't get it. Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) shouldn't even be in the top 10, never mine your Fan. 4. Back to the game of the year for N.H. ( just a reg. game for CM ) BG will lose by 10 or more in this game. CM just to much for BG. Pinkerton ( CC of N.H. ) vs Brockton is this weeks Methuen vs Haverhill game. Pinkenton is just having a bad year.

You mean like last weeks Chelmsford VS Methuen game? Brockton would destroy Methuen as would BG, CM, and Pinkerton would beat them.

Hector is apologizing because Pinkerton has consistently been the best team in the area over the last ten years or so. What's his "name" would not know that because he has not seen anyone play besides whoever Methuen has on its schedule.
Also, if you know anything about Coach O Reilly (Name that is the Pinkerton Coach) you would also know this game is like any other. To think he is trying to gain the respect of Mass teams and fans is down right laughable.
Name you can't be a real person. You are probably just someone on the ET staff putting these mindless things down to get any football fan in the area going. They are laughable.

Not sold on N.H. teams. Brockton, yes. Please, when you talk about Brockton, BG, CM don't add a losing team like Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) in the same sentence. They don't belong in the same sentence as winning teams. This year Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. )would be at the bottom of the MVC. They couldn't handle a tough team week in and week out like all of the MVC teams. Year in and year out they need to play 1 maybe 2 tough teams and that alone makes them the best team in N.H.. Sorry.

Methuen Fan you shouldn't be talking for H.L.. This is not about Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ). This should be about High School Sports - Merrimack Valley and Southern NH. Not just about Southern NH and Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ). Please don't say I don't watch High School football other than who Methuen plays. You don't even know who I am. You also like to think you know everything. Believe me you don't.

Methuen Fan, having 4000 kids going to Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) from all over N.H. and Ma. doesn't mean anything. This year, they are not that good. They only played 2 good teams from N.H. and loss big time in both games. Methuen Fan, I post alot about Pinkerton ( CC of N.H. ) and N.H. teams. What I and nobody else post is any team from the MVC. It's all about a team that is over 25 miles away. Where all MVC teams are no more than 15 miles away. I don't get it. It's the eagletribune High School football - Merrimack Valley and Southern NH. And all we do is talk about a team ( pinkenton CC of N.H. ) and it's players that 25 miles a away and not our local kids.

BG is a D-2 team from N.H. and that is all I need to know about this game. Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) beating Brockton is bigger news than BG beating CM. But I understand that this game, BG vs CM is everthing to N.H..

Name, I would love to try and have an intelligent conversation about NH and Mass football. You seem very strong about your opinions. Just give some examples of why the MVC is so much better. Not just your opinion that you are "not sold" but actual games played, players, etc.

Name, you keep beating that drum. As a Salem guy I am certainly not a Pinkerton supporter but you are now just downright lying about the school. No one I've heard has ever mentioned a Mass player attending Pinkerton. Perhaps you are just unaware that Pinkerton is the public school for several surrounding towns? Yes, theoretically anyone can pay to attend Pinkerton but, as a basically public school, is anyone really doing this??? If so, it'd likely be a student here or there due to unique circumstances and not a football master plan.

That said, I expect tomorrow Salem will start Nashua North's annual fall swoon and the Blue Devils will likely have to beat Pinkerton a 2nd time to win their NH championship. Unfortunately, the points from September won't carry over into November.

I'd have to say that if CM were in NH D2 (instead of the fifth-ranked team in Mass. D1) they'd be fighting for the fourth playoff spot, but I'd have to go with Timberlane right now. Hey, congrats to the Knights on putting up two special teams TD's on Guertin for a grand total of 13 pts, which is the only surprise in the 52-13 statement. And I say again, BG (NH D2) would be a three-touchdown favorite against any MVC team, and probably a two-TD favorite against Xaverian, Brockton, or Everett.

Lowell couldn't get anything going offensively vs. Central, though they played the Raiders tough for three quarters. Andover, as predicted, in a close win over Chelmsford. The 'interim' coach has done a great job there. I still think Pink vs. Brockton will be closer than others think.

Congrats to BG, they are the real deal and hopefully this will end this NH vs. MA argument. On any given day the best from either state could best the other. MA has more teams and larger towns and cities but there is great football being played on both sides of the border. I hope that PA has a good showing tomorrow against Brockton although it will be tough (#2 in MA) but you never know. I do know that they have made some adjustments since the BG/Salem games and are looking pretty good. Hey Name, you aggravate me to no end with your off base mileage, knowledge of who can attend PA, what towns are in the Merrimack valley etc but Kudos to your boy Cal Carroll, nice game against the Hillies.

Please will somebody get rid of this Haverhill coach...I can't believe they have let this guy linger for sooo long. His time has come and gone a long time ago. He blames the situation on lack of numbers but he has had plenty of kids standing on the sidelines dying to get their jerseys dirty. Coach, try teaching these kids to tackle, to block....think outside the box a little. He said that the kids keep him motivated...that's because he can't motivate them...That is down right sad...Mr. Veris, it is time to do the right thing for these kids...pull the plug on this clown

Skip, ( I hope that is not your real name ) after you called me a lier I did go back to read what I blogged about Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ). My mistake I did in that blog, I posted saying Ma. Kids went to Pinkenton. But in no other blog did I ever say that. I was thinking about BG, Sorry my mistake. Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ), call it what you want but anyone from N.H. not Ma. can go there and they do. That is a fact. Football Fan, come on. Lets take BG. Are you tell me that before last night game that they really did play a team like they played last night or would you say they played weak teams in the D-2 schedule. CM is a good school but we all know it's not a top team from Ma. Please don't bring up Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ). We all know they are having a down year. John Stark, you say that CM is a top 5 school. I took your word on that, but, H.L. says that they are ranked 17. So I don't know until I find out for myself were they where ranked. Brockton vs Pinkenton ( CC of N.H. ) is last nights methuen vs Haverhill. You will see. DK, BG played a Avg. team from Ma. and beats them badly and that makes them the top team in N.H.. Any team from MA. beats CM, It's just another win. And lets not forget. BG has Ma. kids playing on that team. Thats a fact. But enjoy your win because I know it means alot to N.H..

To the Eagletribune and it's writers. Thank You. When I open the Eagletribune sports page it was great to read about all what was happening in the Merrimack Valley and Southern NH football games. I do have to say this time everything that happen in the Methuen vs Haverhill game did happen. Jeff Hamrick from what I read I do believe you were there. Not like the Malden vs Methuen game were 50% of what happen didn't happen. It's about time that Merrimack Valley and Southern NH teams got 1st billing. I didn't even know the score of the BG vs CM score until I started to ans. the blogs that were taking place. WOW. I don't know what happen but Thank You.

Name, point of clarification: Herald had CM #5 in D1 prior to being steam rolled by Guertin, as predicted last weekend. Globe had CM #17 over all. I chose the Herald rating in my reference. But take your pick, BG made a rather loud statement. I believe you had CM by at least 10 in a game BG won by 39. Ouch. And I ask again: Which MVC team would you take to beat Guertin?? Answer: Nobody, and it's not close. Also, given X's win over a young Everett and CM's embarrassing loss, look for Central Catholic to move into Herald's Top 3 in D1.

Please know that the Brockton-Pink game was 14-14 with 2 minutes left. They were absolutely evenly matched teams, with Brockton having an edge in the height of their receivers vs. Pink's smaller db's. BG would beat Brockton by three TD's, and I'm not so sure that Exeter wouldn't beat them, also. Salem would pound them. I'm no fan of Pink, but they gave Brockton all they could handle.

Finally, I've see LaSalle (Providence) and Staples (Westport, Ct). A couple of weeks ago I said Guertin is one of the best teams in New England. I take it back, they're the best team in NE, NH D2 or not. NH teams need to take a back seat to nobody. btw Name, you really need to get your Pinkerton enrollment straight. You're way off.

Do you play these games in your head. Are you sure that CM was 17th. I know I said that H.L. said that they were 17th, but, H.L. said they were 14th. My mistake. I'm sure you made a mistake. This is suppose to be about Merrimack Valley and Southern NH. I didn't know it's all about Merrimack Valley and all of N.H.. BG is not a team that has all N.H. kids on it's team. H.L. I know you want to put Pinkenton in your fan. # 4, but, they loss. There no such a thing as a good loss.
