Aftermath of a crazy Saturday …
I agree with you and I am amazed that Benny was not even named an all star. Never mind the fact that he usually defends the best opposing guard(i.e - Bramant, Nieves, and Julien Scott) and usually does an incredible in holding them well under their numbers. He is the rock of this Central Catholic team. I'm very curious as to who the other guards were that did make the team.
For folks who have not seen Everett up close, well... they are not just tall, they are WIDE !
As always, it will come down to defense, limiting turnovers, and rebounding.
Central by 4.
And how about Lexington?
WIll they shed their "soft" label now that they have to play a strong opponent at a neutral site?
Middlesex League has spent the tourney vindicating itself.
Two main characters were hit with cheap fouls, byrd and Carson.
Why?
Give the fouls to the role players and let the stars shine.
