    Wow great observation Longo, going back to the fight I don't know the wrestling coach personally but he has done a great job for that program, but knowing Paul it does not surprise me that this happen, he is one the hardest working individual's you would ever meet, that's why he was such a good player. Lawrence is so young and they are going to get better you can see the glimpses but like any young team they can't maintain the consistency. It's going to be tough fo Lawrence to make the tourney have people look at the schedule but guest what this will just make the team better for next year.

    What about the other night when Lawrence played Haverhill? The 3 student scorekeepers told Hillie coach, Mike Trovato, that he had 1 timeout remaining in OT. He went ahead and called his "final timeout" only for the student scorekeeper that he was already out of timeouts...leading to a T- foul....Hillies lost the game by 1 point...and when asked for the box scores.,...they had one Hillie scoring all 67 points.............Stop babying these kids....these coaches....spread the blame...Paul is good for the city, the school and the kids.....but he is not the 2nd coming of Christ....

    All the stuff vs. The Hillies went into my hoop column.
    A couple observations on that. It's a lawrence home game.
    The school AD is supposedly responsible for getting a qualified scorer, timer and announcer for the the game, not Paul.
    Secondly, I talked to an old follower of local hoop, who was stunned by the whole altercation. One giant problem with the Haverhill cause. Mike Trovato doesn't bring a scorebook on the road. He really needs to have one, and have a scorer at the table to avoid this happening again.
    No doubt, Haverhill got jobbed, but he can do something to avoid it.
