Your right on the money with this. These kids are proud to be varsity ball players. They work hard to get there and deserve better recognition. We saw no results from Haverhill/ Billerica game. except stats. Coaches need to more accountable and do a better job on this side of the fence. Kids need this.
Great to here someone with the passion for the game in the area, wish their were more. The problem is not just with baseball but, all sports in the area. Alot of these coaches need to understand when the time is up. If you don't want to put in the extra effort and rathar treat it like a club sport than hang it up. Just simply not fair to the athletes who put alot of hard work into it. As for the AD's unfortunately we are seeing non Ex Coaches becoming AD's now and they simply don't have the same passion or knowledge of sports. Their only concern is budget constraints and the bottom line rathar than making the best experience for the kids.
Keep up the good work. Great coverage of the local scene.
Londonderry, Salem game will be played at Michelle park at the mary queen of peace church. We are going to play our home game there. Tell your boys at the trib that we email all of the info after each game, woke me up last night. I noticed salem west game was not in the hometown scoreboard, I don't want to be roped in with the coaches who don't report games.
Dan K. Sr. has to be one of the most meticulous reporters of games that we've ever had here at The Eagle-Tribune.
I think he e-mailed the box in today because he said he had some problems with his software.
Salem gets a free trip to the land of exoneration.
